Our Story

Global Steel Buildings is 100% Canadian owned and operated, headquartered in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Our team brings more than 50 years of combined experience in pre-engineered steel buildings, and we've supplied more than 500 buildings to customers from coast to coast.

We started with a simple idea: Canadian buyers deserve a steel building supplier that understands Canadian conditions. That means buildings engineered for real snow loads, real wind and real seismic zones. It means a quote in Canadian dollars that doesn't change at the border. And it means a team you can reach in your own time zone.

Engineered for where you build

Canada has some of the toughest building conditions in the world. A building in Northern Ontario needs to carry far more snow than one in the Lower Mainland, and a building on the Prairies has to stand up to strong winds. We engineer each building for its site.
Cost certainty

Buying from outside Canada exposes you to exchange rates, tariffs and brokerage fees. Our quotes are firm and in Canadian dollars.
